Yet another head-and-shoulders sketch, but this time in color. The young Dragon Reborn. I'm not exactly satisfied with it, but there it is. Mainly just experimenting with coloring in my drawings.

Excellent drawing, the best I’ve seen online! Only one I’ve seen where he actually looks attractive!

Exactly how I imagined him! ’Cept the right eye is a little tiny bit off. I hate to say it but still...

Yes, something like what I expected him to be. But to me he seemed less royal and more casual, and with the look on an Aielman. Anyway, were he slightly changed he would look great. This is the best one I have seen so far.

I have seen too many horrible Rand drawings. There is always something wrong with one of them; they make Rand look like a muscley monster, they give him shoulder length hair, they make his hair look like a dyed firey red, they make his face too angular, they make him look all ridged, the make him look sexy and naughty, they make him look demon-like, or they make him look like animae. And I really hate it, because it messes up how people new to the book think of him. Not to say that they are not very talented drawings , just they’re not Rand.

So I have been searching the internet looking for someone who just remotely knew how to draw Rand. Let me say now that I didn’t find it.
Until I looked at this one.

This is EXACTLY how I pictured Rand. Unsure and boyish, but becoming a man. He’s handsome and his face is rounded, not so straight and hard. He also looks determined. He looks strong but not big monster, or bicep guy.

He looks like Rand Al’Thor. Cooramoor, Car’a’carn, and Dragon Reborn.
